Moumoute fabric: soft and enchanting

Our moumoute fabrics are crafted with the utmost care to guarantee superior quality. Made from synthetic or natural fibers, they are soft to the touch and resistant to wear, ensuring exceptional durability.

The benefits of moumoute fabric: Ideal for creating garments with its stretch knit, it's easy to sew using a suitable needle.
Whether you want to create a warm ambience in your living room, add a touch of comfort to your bedroom or simply curl up in a soft armchair, moumoute fabric adapts to every situation and every need.

How to care for moumoute fabric

Soft furnishings are surprisingly easy to care for. Most moumoute fabrics can be machine or hand washed, making them practical and suitable for everyday use. We recommend machine washing at 30°c using a mild, non-aggressive detergent to preserve the fabric's softness. After washing, avoid drying moumoute jersey fabric at high temperatures, as this could damage the fibers and alter its texture, preferring to air-dry.
In most cases, moumoute jersey fabric does not need to be ironed. If necessary, use a low temperature and place a clean cloth between the iron and the fabric to avoid direct contact.

Go for terry cloth

Why choose terry cloth?

Terry, with its thick fibers and generous curls, offers a luxurious feel and water-holding capacity that makes it an ideal choice for bathroom accessories and cleaning items. But it's not all: you can use it to make a beach-going dress, or even scrunchies like the various Papa Pique and Maman Coud accessories already available in the articles section.

How do I wash terry cloth ?
Wash terry separately from other garments or items, preferably in similar colors. Use lukewarm to hot water for washing, but avoid using bleach or harsh bleaching agents that could damage the fibers.
This fabric absorbs a lot of water. Air-drying is recommended for this type of fabric.
Ironing should be avoided, as it may crush the curls and reduce their absorption efficiency.

Choose linen fabric by the metre for your creations

Why choose linen?
And then there's linen, with its natural texture and characteristic strength. This light, breathable fabric brings a rustic elegance to every creation. Linen, with its ability to soften and gain character over time, embodies durability and traditional craftsmanship.

How do i care for linen ?
Linen is a natural fabric that requires special care to preserve its beauty and durability. Here are a few tips on how to care for linen fabric:
  • Washing: Linen can be machine-washed in lukewarm or cold water, but it's best to wash it at a low temperature to avoid shrinkage. Use a mild detergent and avoid products containing bleach or optical brighteners.
  • Drying: After washing, hang linen out to dry in the open air. Avoid drying in direct sunlight, as this may cause yellowing or discoloration. If you use a tumble dryer, set it on a gentle cycle and remove the linen as soon as it is still slightly damp to avoid permanent creasing.
  • Ironing: Linen tends to crease easily, so it's best to iron while it's still damp. Use a hot iron and set it to the appropriate temperature for linen. If necessary, use steam to facilitate the ironing process.
