This year, why not give your traditional Easter egg hunt a creative twist with Papa Pique et Maman Coud?

We’ll start with a story to read aloud before the activity begins, then walk you through all the key elements you’ll need to make this hunt truly magical. Let’s go!
Begin your hunt by reading this short Easter tale to your children:
"Just like every year, the Easter Bunny is travelling the world with his basket, delivering eggs to children everywhere!
He has eggs of every color, size, and shape big ones and tiny ones!
But this morning, when I woke up, I didn’t find anything in the house/garden…
Except for a letter hanging on the door!"
"Here’s your mission, kids: Find the [insert number] eggs and carrots the bunny dropped!
It’s your job to help the Easter Bunny collect them so he can give you your chocolate treats!"
To add some mystery, you can download and print the letter left by the Easter Bunny at your door. It continues the story and sets the tone for the hunt.
In the letter, the Bunny asks your children to help him retrieve the fabric eggs and carrots he lost while hiding chocolate eggs. The idea is to combine the hunt with simple riddles: each time the children solve a riddle, you give them a clue to the next hiding spot and bring them closer to the final treasure.
For your Easter treasure hunt, you’ll need fabric eggs and carrots to hide along with riddles!
No sewing machine? No worries you can also draw and color paper versions of the eggs and carrots. Then simply hide them around the house, each with a little riddle attached.
Make sure to hide the final chocolate treasure well, and keep a list of all the hiding spots so nothing gets lost!
