Meet Clara – Manager of the Bordeaux Boutique

“Welcome to PPMC BORDEAUX!

I’m Clara, a lover of colors and beautiful prints. I’ve been part of the Papa Pique et Maman Coud adventure for a year and a half first in La Rochelle, and now in Bordeaux. Wherever I am, I meet passionate customers who I’m happy to advise and with whom I share my favorites every day.

My favorite activity is creating personalized Sac&Zip bags. Mixing colors, combining styles from classic to quirky there’s something for everyone. Whether as a gift or a treat for yourself, let us guide you at PPMC!

Rue des Remparts in Bordeaux is full of hidden gems… so see you soon, I can’t wait to meet you!”

Top 5 Things to Do in Bordeaux

Bordeaux is a vibrant city full of activities and charm you’ll never be bored here! Here’s our Top 5 must-do activities during your stay.

1. Admire Place de la Bourse and the Water Mirror

Place de la Bourse is one of Bordeaux’s most iconic spots. This large open square is framed by two buildings the Palais de la Bourse and the Hôtel des Douanes. For the past 11 years, the Water Mirror (Miroir d’eau) has reflected the square’s beauty across its 3,450 m² surface, creating a stunning visual effect between the square and the quays.

2. Explore the Saint-Pierre and Saint-Michel Districts and Place des Quinconces

In the Saint-Michel district, don’t miss the Basilica, Porte de Bourgogne, or the Grosse Cloche.
The Saint-Pierre district is the historic center perfect for a stroll and soaking up the atmosphere. Highlights include Porte Cailhau, Place du Parlement, and the famous Place des Quinconces, one of the largest squares in Europe.

3. Discover the Garonne River

The Port of the Moon is the name given to Bordeaux’s harbor along the Garonne River. Take a walk along the quays, from Pont de Pierre to Pont des Marques, and enjoy the lively ambiance and scenic views. You’ll pass by Place de la Bourse and Place des Quinconces, spotting Bordeaux’s famous bridges like the striking Pont Chaban Delmas.

4. Stroll Through Bordeaux’s Green Spaces

Bordeaux boasts many beautiful parks, including the Jardin Public and Parc Bordelais, both designated “Remarkable Gardens of France.” Other great spots include the Botanical Garden, Parc Rivière, Parc aux Angéliques along the Garonne, and the Barails Ecological Reserve in the north of the city.
