Co-creation PPMC & Déothie

To celebrate Mother's Day, two artisanal brands are teaming up to create unique and trendy sandals. Papa Pique and Maman Coud & Déothie Sandals are launching a unique and limited co-creation combining expertise and creativity.

It's a unique collaboration between PPMC and Déothie, a small brand from Brittany that makes magnificent sandals with interchangeable ribbons. Our two brands, both creative and colourful, have joined forces, combining their DNA and expertise to create a limited edition collection of mother-daughter sandals!

The creative world of Doéthie

Déothie is a brand of women's sandals from Brittany. Since 2015, Déothie has been designing and making leather sandals, handcrafted in France using quality materials.

The basic concept is simple: change the ribbons, not the sandals! Thanks to the interchangeable ribbons and the many ways of tying them, Déothie offers multifaceted, customisable sandals with infinitely changeable ribbons to match all summer and spring outfits.

This year, the brand is launching new models of espadrille sandals as well as its first children's collection. These models are absolutely adorable and very comfortable, but also perfect for matching mother-daughter looks.

PPMC & Déothie sandals: the mother-daughter collection

Discover a brand new mother and daughter collection featuring the iconic, colourful fabrics of Papa Pique and Maman Coud. Sandals for adults and children to create a matchy-matchy look. These leather and cotton sandals are made in France by Déothie using traditional craftsmanship.

This collaboration also launches Déothie's new children's sandals collection. A leather collection with interchangeable ribbons for children. This new children's range is available online on the Déothie website and in the boutique in Locmariaquer.

Why work together?

Because it's the very essence of local design to come together to offer something authentic and meaningful. Our partnership with Déothie takes us back to our beginnings at Papa Pique et Maman Coud. Nam Pham started making her creations by hand and selling them at markets in Brittany and Vendée. Because our products are interchangeable and have multiple uses, we have teamed up with a brand that also designs its products to be interchangeable and durable.

Through our products, inspired by the PPMC movement and emblematic ribbons, we weave a colourful universe where quality and the evocation of summer meet in harmony. Each product is the fruit of meticulous work, carrying with it the warm, invigorating breath of this sunny season.
