Papa Pique et Maman Coud was born in 1995 from the imagination of Nam Pham, its creator. As a young student, she won her first customers on the markets of Vendée and Brittany with scrunchies and barrettes made of fabric. Passionate about sewing and colors, she developed her brand around a simple concept: making hair and fashion accessories as well as bags from printed or more classic fabrics (plain, polka dot, gingham...). Her inspiration has given birth to hundreds of accessories since the creation of the brand. And that's what you remember when you leave a PPMC store: the profusion of items and colors.
Papa Pique et Maman Coud is also a family story. Nam Pham's family, who surrounded her in each step of her development, but also the one she created over the years within the company. Today, the brand can be proud to have more than 50 employees and to continue its growth.

For many years Nam Pham, the creator of Papa Pique et Maman Coud, has taken the gamble of developing her brand at the rate of one boutique per year. This strategic choice is motivated by her desire to control the growth of her company and to take the time to accompany each of the boutiques in its development.
She talks about the opening of the Reims boutique: "We are always listening to our customers and looking for opportunities. The opening of our latest boutique in Reims at the beginning of March 2021 was a real success. We were warmly welcomed by the inhabitants of the city who already knew us in large numbers. Often, it is during the vacations that our customers discover us. Carnac, La Trinité, but also Belle-Ile and Le Crouesty in Brittany are seasonal stores that welcome thousands of people during the school vacations. These are all customers who are happy to find our brand and our products close to home. By 2022, we would like to open a new store. To do this, we need to find the right location and a passionate person who is ready to take on such a project. Opening a boutique in the framework of a concession requires organization and motivation and we are there to accompany them at every stage of their development".
Each new store manager is invited to follow a training program that will start with three days of support in one of our stores to familiarize themselves with our world, merchandising, sales and our cash register software.
Then, a day of immersion in the life of the company is planned in our workshop in Saint-Philibert. This will be an opportunity to visit all the teams, to meet all the employees and to better understand the role of each one. This immersion naturally includes our logistics platform located near Vannes. The idea is to master the order preparation process and to facilitate communication once the store is open. Knowing your contacts and addressing the right person makes for greater efficiency.
After a day of installation of furniture, computer equipment, merchandise and windows, you will be accompanied throughout your first day of opening and you will continue to benefit from the assistance of our sales and computer teams.
Opening a PPMC dealership is above all entering a professional family, which will share its know-how, experience and reputation with you.
It is also to benefit from an accompaniment at the time of the creation, for the research of the local, the furnishing and the installation of the store, the installation of the data-processing system, the training in order to know the products, the interlocutors, the software of cashier, etc...
