Our fabrics for Tablecloths

Coated fabrics by the meter for made-to-measure tablecloths

Are you looking for a round or long tablecloth, or a coated tablecloth that can be cut to the length of your choice?

Buy your tablecloth by the meter on our website or in our store, and make your own custom-made coated tablecloth.
Fall for our colorful coated tablecloths (thick cotton fabrics that have been coated) for your outdoor or indoor tables. Made from thick Oeko-Tex fabric, all our coated fabrics are water-repellent and waterproof. Easy-care and highly resistant, they require little maintenance.
Once you've received your cut of coated fabric, simply cut the tablecloth to fit your table. There's no need to sew, thanks to the coating, which prevents threads from pulling out.

These coated fabrics can also be used to make placemats, bags, rain hats, aprons... all accessories that need a certain rigidity and resistance to water!

Which fabric to choose for the perfect tablecloth?

When you're planning to make a tablecloth, the choice of fabric is crucial to combining aesthetics and functionality. Coated cotton is an ideal option for tablecloths, offering a perfect compromise between elegance and practicality. Thanks to its special coating, this fabric is water and stain resistant, making it ideal for family meals or festive occasions. Easy to maintain, a simple wipe down is all it takes to keep your tablecloth spotless, even after splashes or food accidents.
For those looking for an even more robust option, oilcloth is a practical alternative. Renowned for its stain resistance and ability to withstand intensive use, it's perfect for busy households or outdoor dining. Its waterproof surface effectively protects your table, and maintenance is minimal.

How to create a tablecloth with coated cotton?

Creating a tablecloth with coated cotton is both simple and rewarding. Start by carefully measuring your table to determine the desired tablecloth size. Cut the coated cotton fabric according to these measurements, adding a few extra centimetres for hems. For a neat finish, fold over the edges of the fabric and secure them with clips or basting, then make straight seams using a sewing machine with a needle suitable for coated fabrics. If you prefer to avoid sewing finishes, you can also use iron-on bias tape for a clean, fast result. Once the tablecloth is finished, you'll have a piece that's both elegant and practical, ideal for any occasion.
