What is furoshiki?
Originally from Japan, furoshiki is a piece of cloth traditionally used to wrap gifts and objects. Originally, furoshiki is the name given to the folding technique used to wrap one's gift in fabric. Furoshiki is also called "fabric origami" because of the variety of folding methods.

There are many tutorials and techniques to wrap your gifts, you will surely find your happiness among the many ways to fold. However, the size of the furoshiki is to be defined according to the size of the object to wrap. With a square furoshiki, you have to multiply by 3 the length of the gift in order to have enough margin to make a small knot. For example, if your object is 20 centimeters long, you will need a 72 x 72 cm cloth.
